I Liked It!
If you’re a lover of second chance romance, and rocker/musician stories, than All I Ever Wanted by LuAnn McLane, is a book you definitely need to one-click!
Grady was the bad-boy lead singer of Heartbeat and Arabella was their choreographer, these two had a whirlwind romance and were in love, until a simple misunderstanding had Arabella running and separated these two for years. Now with Heartbeat getting back together for a reunion show, the only one to whip them back into shape to be ready to perform is Arabella, but Grady is dead set on now letting her choreograph the show for them. When the rest of the brothers go behind Grady’s back and hire Arabella, sparks fly and the past comes crashing back down in this crazy story!
I loved how Grady and Arabella where both so stubborn to acknowledge the past as well as work with one another. Both of them had major misunderstandings and past resentments from that night so many years ago, and are unwilling to budge to move forward and make this reunion show what it needs to be, perfect. When the brothers force them to work out their differences, sparks fly and they are finally able to talk and things are put out in the open. You can definitely see the connection between these two was never lost and the passion and love is still there. The hurt they both have still lingers, but as the weeks and months draw on they slowly move past it, and begin to trust in one another again, and I adored watching them fall in love all over again. Watching Jesse, Oliver, and Jimmy embrace Arabella back into the fold was awesome too, and seeing all the shenanigans unfold was hilarious.
Grady and Arabella have a lot to overcome in this book and for the most part they do a great job at it, but sometimes they let the past get in the way, and they handle things not so great. I wish Arabella would stop letting her fears get in the way and stop running, but I also know that it helps her think and stops her from making rash decisions that could break her and Grady all together. They definitely learned to communicate a lot better in this book from when we first met them, and their love only got stronger. I really enjoyed watching Grady and Arabella find their way back to one another and getting to know the rest of the Heart brothers in this book. I will definitely be looking forward to the rest of this series to see if the rest of the boys get their HEA as well.
If you want a great second chance romance with some humor, angst, and some definitely hot scenes mixed in, I highly suggest picking up a copy of All I Ever Wanted by LuAnn McLane today!
