I Liked It!
All or Nothing At All is a beautifully written second chance romance that once I picked up, I was unable to put down!
From the prologue of this book all the way till the end I was rooting for Sydney and Tristan to get the HEA they deserved, even if at times I wanted to strangle Tristan and hoped Sydney would just give up on him and find her happiness with someone who deserved all the love she had to share.
These two have a complicated past, Sydney has been in love with Tristan since she was eight years old, and Tristan only really saw her when she was 19 and then everything fell apart for them, and now that he’s back and they have to work together, things are very difficult for both of them. Not only do they have to work together, but Sydney has a secret that is getting harder and harder to keep from Tristan, especially when old feelings between the two of them start to come to surface.
I loved watching the two of them try to fight their feelings for or the chemistry that sizzled between them whenever they were near each other. But everything seems to catch up with them, and when the truth comes out everything falls apart, and the way Tristan handled it was shocking to me, and watching Sydney give in to his demands, especially with how strong her character was throughout the book, but she handled it in stride. I understood the hurt that Tristan was going through, but at the same time, he never sat down and understood why Sydney kept things from him. Both of these where at fault for the things that went wrong in their relationship, but only one of them handled it ok.
This was a very beautifully written story, that had me on pins and needles on how things were going to work out with the main characters. I really wanted Tristan to get his head out of his ass, and Sydney to continue to hold her ground and fight for what she knew she deserved, because she really did deserve the love she wanted. It was a long road for both of these characters, and I must say the way Jennifer Probst ended their story was perfection! If you’re looking for an angsty second chance romance, this is the perfect book for you!
I have received this book as a member of the XOXperts, XOXO After Dark’s official street team, in exchange for an honest review.
