I Loved It!
Broken Prince is book 2 in the Royals Series and picks up right where Paper Princess left off, and after that ending, I needed to dive right into this book!
I didn’t think I could love Ella and the Royals any more, but they proved me wrong in this book. Ella becomes stronger than ever, and we finally get inside of Reed’s mind in this book. He’s torn up with how things ended and now that Ella is gone he’s devastated. Brooke has put him in an awful situation and I knew I didn’t like her, but now I know for sure I hate this girl and she needs to go! The first part of this book is told in Reed’s point of view and we get to see him mess up a lot, and see how much he truly does care about Ella and how much pain he is feeling and how lost he really is. My heart breaks for him but in a way he deserves it with how he treats some of the people in his life, so I’m glad to see him realizing what he’s done and start to make up for it.
When we finally get Ella back, she’s angry, pissed, and not happy. She fights everyone tooth and nail and the only people she really lets in is Val and Easton. Watching her go back and forth with how to handle her feelings for Reed and what to do with them is hard, and I’m glad she didn’t fall right back into it, and she thought long and hard about what to do with it. Watching her learn to accept her new reality as well as come to terms with her new life was awesome. She’s grown so much since we first met her and I loved seeing the growth in her character.
Things aren’t easy for either of these characters in this story, but throughout it all I think it makes them stronger. They go through so much and in the end it ends up making the Royal family who was falling apart a lot stronger. The twins, Easton, Reed, Callum and Ella are more open and starting to work things out by the end of this book, but it took them a long time to get there and it was a hard journey, and I have a feeling with how this book ended the hardest part hasn’t even begun yet, but it was awesome to see them finally starting to fight together instead of with each other. This book wasn’t a boring follow up but an action packed story full of drama, angst, sexiness, and all kinds of twists and turns. I adore this series and can’t wait to dive into Twisted Palace and see where this story takes us now. This is quickly becoming my favorite series, as I have read the first two books in the past twenty four hours and can’t get these characters out of my head! This is a definite must read in my opinion. Go grab your copies today and fall in love with the twisted Royal family!
