I Absolutely Loved It!
S.E. Hall has delivered kicked off a new series that I will be on pins and needles waiting for each book to release! Embody is book 1 in the Full Circle series which is about “The Squad” which for those of you who have read the Evolve Series, is the children of “The Crew“, but don’t worry, if you haven’t read the Evolve Series, you can jump right in to Embody without missing a beat!
In Embody we get to see Jefferson “JT” chase and go crazy over his sisters best friend Bellamy. Problem is Brynn is not OK with her older brother chasing the only real friend outside of the Squad that she has so for the first part of this book you see the two of them fighting and putting rules on each other to keep JT away from Bellamy, but they don’t realize how smart Bellamy is and she plays them at their own game. Bellamy on the other hand is a smart and strong girl and I adored her from the moment we met her in this book. She’s head strong and can definitely handle her own with these crazy set of characters, she’s definitely the one to keep Jefferson in line, even when he drives her insane.
Watching the “Playboy” who’s a lot like his uncle Sawyer and his father combined trying to figure out how to deal with Bellamy is hilarious. He went from never really having a girlfriend to going full in with Bellamy and watching everyone’s reactions to it was hilarious. Presley was the one who gave JT the most crap, but also the most valuable advise at times. She may have pushed his buttons at times, but when he needed honest advise or a good kick in the butt, she was there to help him. Sure his dad, uncles, aunts, and mom where there for him, but it was his cousin who really helped him see the light a few times. I adored her character as well and how up front she was when she opened her mouth and gave advise to both JT and Bellamy. Her take to prisoners attitude is something I wish I could have!
Watching Bellamy and Jefferson’s relationship play out was like watching a comedy. Everything Bellamy would say or think, Jefferson would go and do the opposite. You could see what was going to happen a mile away, and the reaction Bellamy was going to happen coming like a train wreck, but even knowing what was going to happen, you couldn’t expect how S.E. Hall would have you laughing so hard tears would be coming out of your eyes. I loved this about this book. Watching this love story play out, while laughing so hard I was crying, made this book so beautiful to me. It was a perfect mix of laughs, alpha male, and love. Every single character in this book played an important part in this book and I wanted to know more about each and every one of them. I adored Jefferson and Bellamy and also the side conversations each of them had with Dane. Seeing how everyone loved and accepted Bellamy into the fold was amazing and showed how loving this group of characters truly is, and made me wish I had these types of people in my life!
If you read and loved the Evolve Series and have been wanting more, or if you’ve been looking for a new book that would have you laughing and falling in love, this book is a must read! Trust me, you won’t regret one-clicking Embody by S.E. Hall, it is definitely one of my top reads of 2017!
