I Liked It!
Kandi Steiner has done it again! Revelry is a beautifully written story that will pull at your heart strings and have you falling in love with Wren & Anderson!
Both of these characters are broken and not in a good place. Wren has rented a cabin for the summer to find herself after going through a divorce and is looking for inspiration for her fashion line, and just to figure out who she is and to move on. Anderson is still grieving a past from seven years ago and keeps to himself, but when these two meet, something inside ignites, and both of them don’t know what to do.
I loved the back and forth between Wren & Anderson and watching them fight the feeling they had for one another and the denial of the feelings they had. Watching them open up to one another, and watching them come alive when they were around each other was beautiful. Seeing them before they starting talking and seeing them as they started working together and getting to know each other was night and day. They may not have realized it at the time, but they truly saved each other without even realizing it. These two grew so much in this book and fought it tooth and nail when things got tough.
The secondary characters in this book were more like primary characters as well, they played huge parts in this story and helped bring Wren & Anderson their HEA. I enjoyed how most of them let them figure things out on their own, but were there to guide them when needed. They were the voice of reason and helped them when they needed it. Wren & Anderson both had a lot of growing to do in this book, and it took most of the entire book for them to get there, but it was definitely worth the wait to see how things ended up for them.
I really enjoyed this book, but there were some parts of this book that drug on a bit too much for me, and other parts I would have liked to have seen expanded upon. I really loved Wren and Anderson’s characters and how they balanced each other out. Both of their stories were heartbreaking and beautiful and definitely pulled at my heartstrings. If you’re looking for a romance that will pull at your emotions, I highly suggest picking up Revelry by Kandi Steiner today!
