I Loved It!
On A Tuesday by Whitney G. is an amazing second chance romance that I was unable to put down. Told in dual point of views and in both past and present, I was able to truly connect with the characters and fall in love with their story and everything that they went through.
Seven years ago Charlotte and Grayson cross paths when she’s asked to tutor him. She tries to ignore the advances of the popular quarterback who has everything and is meant for greatness, but no matter what she does, he’s relentless and soon a friendship is born and then so much more. I loved watching the two of them form a friendship, and watching Grayson do everything he could to break down Charlotte‘s walls to let him in. Watching the man who gets everything be denied over and over again by Charlotte was hilarious, but seeing how sincere he was about getting to know her and wanting her was adorable. Everything is perfect for them in college, but we know that she left without a trace from his life and we don’t know why.
Watching these two reconnect and trying to get answers from one another is like pulling teeth. Both of them are hurt and are blaming one another. Charlotte says Grayson hurt her more than she can ever imagine and refuses to give Grayson the time of day when he walks back into her life, and Grayson has no clue why she left him and only wants her back. Watching Grayson yet again pursue Charlotte trying to get answers and get the love of his life back is heartbreaking. He has everything he could possibly want, except for Charlotte, and Charlotte is just heartbroken still from seven years ago.
This story had everything I love about second chance romances and then some. I loved the story of them falling in love and seeing them before, and then seeing them reconnect. Finding out why they fell about, and watching them try to come together again. I only wish we would have had more of them together before the epilogue. This book definitely gave me the feels, and I fell hard for Grayson. He may seem cocky, but this man has a heart of gold, and Charlotte’s character is pretty amazing as well. Together these two are perfection, it just takes them a while to figure it out! If you’re a lover of second chance romance’s then I highly suggest one-clicking On a Tuesday by Whitney G. today, I read it in one sitting!
